Why is it so Cheap?
Sykes Production is an up and coming media production company. Starting out of the Royalist Youtube channel, it has learnt production from the foundations up, and gained knowledge on the best way for a interesting person who wants to get their voice out there to do so in a simple way.
As it is a fledgling of a company, prices are extremely competitive at the moment. However, I will keep them competitive even if the company grows.
Sykes Production is 60 - 75% cheaper than other freelance video editors*.
However, we do not lack quality. If there is ever an issue with any product we return, simply tell us, and the issue will be fixed ASAP, or you will get your money back.
Long Form Video Editing
$50 per 10 minutes of edited video
$5 per minute
$100 for a 20 minute video
Minimum order of 5 minutes.
Short Form Video Editing
$100 per video clipped (10 short clips returned)
$50 per short clip made from scratch
Where Do I Even Start?
A large part of growing the Royalist Channel was not in the software, but in the hardware. Selecting hardware that worked well together simply and provided a high quality output. The setup now is simple - you just turn on the camera and go.
But you don't have to spend hours and hours and thousands and thousands going through the same process. With the Studio Setup service I will personally order everything you would need, and then remotely guide you through setting it up step by step.

Includes setup, stream management/moderation, and live production (approx. 1 hour total)

Full Production Package
(end-to-end service)
A complete content solution covering planning, editing, clipping, posting, and channel management. Pricing depends on output volume and requirements (at least 25% cheaper than the other services one by one).
For clients producing 2–3 videos per week or more, social media management is included as part of this service.
This is the real advantage of Sykes Production - the simplicty and ease of media creation.

All services are flexible and can be combined depending on requirements. The aim is to provide a straightforward, reliable production setup that scales with your content.
The Specifics
Turn Around Times, Usage Rights and Revisions
The turn around time for a video depends on its length:
30 minutes of raw footage - ~6 hours
1 hour of raw footage - ~12 hours
However if a the edit must be completed quicker, that can be arranged.
Live streams should be scheduled at least 12 hours before showtime.
Short Clips can be returned 3 hours after the video/live stream is uploaded.
Thumbnails add ~30 minutes to the turn around time.
You will of course have full usage rights for the edited video.
I offer as many revisions as it takes to get it right, or if I cannot get it right, a full refund.
